New Yorker - Autumn 1968

October 19, 1968, autumn is here, a mixture of hot and cold, on the cover of The New Yorker. Under Arthur Getz's brush, the blue evening light takes hold of everything except  the golden leaves that light up the sidewalks of Manhattan, in Chelsea, Greenwich Village or Soho.
