Jerry Roupe was an incredibly talented artist with a huge portfolio. Born in Stockholm in 1919, she loved the city all her life, and despite tough times in the years following the First World War, always knew she wanted to "create pictures". In the late 1950’s and early 1960’s she began to print textiles filled with humor and warmth, and in many different colours, with flowers, leaves and fun creatures/figures.
