Developed by working closely with craftsmen in the Hasami region of Japan, the Ceramic Lab range is a fresh interpretation of Japanese tableware. Mixing sandstone with porcelain stone mined from the Amakusa Islands ensures the durability of this humble, yet modern design.​The unique glaze effect on each piece, called "yo-hen", means they may take on a scorched-like texture on the surface therefore unintended colour transformations show on the porcelain after firing.
